A Major Milestone: Association of Surgeons of Uganda Selects Herona Community Hospital for Upcoming Surgical Missions

Association of Surgeons of Uganda recently visited Herona Community Hospital in a significant step toward strengthening surgical services within our community.

The visit brought together a team of experienced surgeons who toured the hospital facilities, interacted with our medical staff, and assessed our capacity to support advanced surgical care. It was a moment of great importance for our institution, reflecting the progress we have made and the potential we hold for future growth.

Following their assessment, the Association of Surgeons of Uganda confirmed Herona Community Hospital as one of the sites from which they will operate during their upcoming surgical missions. This decision marks a major milestone and opens new opportunities for delivering specialized surgical services to our patients.

These upcoming missions are expected to greatly benefit the community by providing access to surgical care for patients who may otherwise face financial or logistical barriers. In addition, the collaboration will support knowledge sharing, mentorship, and skills development for our healthcare team.
