Through his dedication and advocacy, Dr Kiko has played an important role in strengthening partnerships and bringing together well-wishers and supporters, particularly friends and partners from Tarragona, Spain, who share our vision of making essential surgical care more accessible to underserved communities.

At Herona Community Hospital, we believe that access to safe and affordable surgical services should not be a privilege reserved for a few. Many people in our communities continue to live with treatable surgical conditions because of financial challenges and limited access to specialised services.
