Herona Community Hospital Receives PulseLife Mini Dock to Boost TB Screening in Mukono South constitency
Herona Community Hospital has taken another significant step forward in strengthening healthcare delivery after receiving a brand new PulseLife Mini Dock from the Ministry of Health Uganda in partnership with Mukono District Local Government.
As the largest high-volume community hospital in Mukono South Constituency, this milestone reinforces our commitment to delivering accessible, timely, and quality healthcare services—especially in the fight against tuberculosis (TB).
Strengthening TB Screening and Early Detection
Tuberculosis remains a major health challenge in Uganda, with many cases going undetected due to limited screening capacity. The introduction of the PulseLife Mini Dock is a game-changer for our facility, enabling faster and more efficient screening processes.
This advanced, portable diagnostic device will support our healthcare teams by:
- Enhancing early detection of TB cases
- Improving patient triage and screening efficiency
- Supporting outreach services in hard-to-reach communities
- Reducing delays in diagnosis and treatment initiation
A Strategic Investment in Community Health
The donation reflects a strong collaboration between government and frontline health facilities. By equipping Herona Community Hospital with modern technology, the Ministry of Health and Mukono District Local Government are directly investing in the health and wellbeing of the people of Mukono South.
