Herona Community Hospital Partners with China Railway No.5 Engineering Group

Herona Community Hospital in Kisoga has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Railway No.5 Engineering Group to serve as the designated treatment centre during the Buule–Ntenjeru Road Project. This partnership marks a major milestone in the hospital’s continued commitment to providing quality healthcare services to both the local community and corporate partners operating in the region.

Under the agreement, Herona Community Hospital will offer comprehensive medical support to the project’s workforce, including emergency care, routine check-ups, and occupational health services. The collaboration reflects mutual trust and recognition of the hospital’s growing capacity and professionalism in delivering reliable healthcare.

Dr. Mukalazi Henrygarvin, Director of Herona Community Hospital, expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity, noting that the partnership will not only strengthen the hospital’s service delivery but also contribute to the overall well-being of the workers and surrounding communities. He emphasized that the hospital remains guided by its slogan, “Serving our community regardless.”
