Herona Community Hospital Kisoga Mukono is a 50-bed capacity facility, fully registered with the Registrar of Companies as a not for profit entity and licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. Established in 2015 by Dr. Mukalazi Henry Garvin, the hospital began as a small clinic with just two beds in two rented rooms as HERONA MEDICAL AND IMAGING CENTRE .

It is located in Ntenjeru Kisoga Town Council along the Kisoga-Katosi road in Mukono South Constituency. Today, Herona Community Hospital serves as a private referral facility for the area, handling all accidents and emergencies along the Kampala-Jinja Highway.

Our Level TWO laboratory is licensed by the Allied Health Professional Council REGNO AHPC16/0884P, REGNO 4837

our radiology department is fully certified and licenced by the Atomic Energy Council.licence no.AEC/PU/1766/01 FILE NO. AEC/TEC/878/01

Community Impact: Located in Mukono south constituency , under Mukono District , Herona Community Hospital  serves a diverse population of approximately 109,625 people, with an anticipated population growth to 95,529 people by the end of 2024. Additionally, the hospital extends its services to neighboring communities, including Ntenjeru Sub-County and Ntenjeru Kisoga  Town Council, accounting for an estimated 10% and 5% of patients annually, respectively. Through its outreach programs and community engagement initiatives, the hospital remains deeply rooted in the local community, striving to improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes for all
