
Salutem Health Company Donates Genrui F50 Chemistry Analyzer to Herona Community Hospital Laboratory
hrough its commitment to strengthening diagnostic services in Uganda, has generously donated a Genrui F50 Fully Automated Chemistry Analyzer to the laboratory department of Herona Community Hospital.
This modern laboratory equipment will significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostic services to patients from Mukono South Constituency and surrounding districts.
Tests Supported by the Genrui F50 Analyzer
The Genrui F50 is designed to perform a wide range of routine and specialized clinical chemistry tests, including but not limited to:
- Liver Function Tests (LFTs) – ALT, AST, ALP, Bilirubin, Total Protein, Albumin
- Kidney Function Tests (KFTs) – Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid
- Blood Sugar Tests – Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)
- Lipid Profile Tests – Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides
- Cardiac & Enzyme Tests – CK, LDH, Amylase
- Electrolyte-related chemistry parameters (where applicable)
- Other routine chemistry investigations essential for outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and chronic care monitoring
The analyzer improves testing speed, accuracy, and consistency, reducing turnaround time and supporting clinicians in making faster, evidence-based medical decisions.

Speaking on behalf of the laboratory team, Winnie Aryemo, a Laboratory Technologist and Head of the Laboratory Department at Herona Community Hospital, expressed deep appreciation to Salutem Health Company for the donation.
