Herona Community Hospital Welcomes Dr. Allan M.D & team for Specialized Hernia Surgery Training

Herona Community Hospital is delighted to warmly welcome Dr. Allan– University of Maryland School of Medicine (1983), who will be traveling from the United States of America to Herona to support our ongoing capacity-building efforts.

During his visit, Dr. Allan will provide hands-on training to our medical staff in the Liechtenstein hernia repair technique, an advanced and proven approach to hernia management. This training marks an important milestone in strengthening surgical skills at Herona and improving the quality of care we provide to our patients.

The Liechtenstein technique is known for its effectiveness, safety, and good long-term outcomes for patients. By equipping our team with these skills, Herona Community Hospital continues its commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable, and sustainable surgical services to the communities we serve.
