Herona Community Hospital to Hold Free Medical Camp in Buwaate on December 1, 2025
Herona Community Hospital, in partnership with 1MET200, will conduct a free medical camp in Buwaate on Monday, December 1, 2025. The outreach aims to bring essential healthcare services closer to the community and promote better health for all.
The medical camp will focus on eye health, offering free eye examinations and treatment for all eye conditions. Individuals who require vision support will receive free reading glasses, while patients diagnosed with cataracts will be booked for free surgery at Herona Community Hospital.
In addition to eye care, the camp will also provide free HIV and diabetes testing, ensuring that participants receive comprehensive health screening and guidance from qualified medical professionals.
This initiative is part of Herona Community Hospital’s ongoing commitment to improving community health through accessible and compassionate medical services. With the support of 1MET200, the hospital continues to extend quality healthcare to underserved communities across Mukono and beyond.
Residents of Buwaate and neighboring areas are encouraged to attend the camp and benefit from these free services. Together, Herona Community Hospital and 1MET200 are working to build a healthier, stronger community.
