Public Announcement: Free Cataract Surgeries at Herona Community Hospital Kisoga

Herona Community Hospital Kisoga is pleased to announce a free cataract surgery camp scheduled for 18th October 2025. This initiative aims to restore sight and improve the quality of life for individuals affected by cataracts.

Screening for eligible patients will take place on 17th October 2025 at Herona Community Hospital Kisoga. All patients diagnosed with operable cataracts during the screening will receive surgery free of charge.

This program is proudly supported by IMET and reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible and affordable eye care services to the community.

Community members experiencing poor vision, cloudy eyesight, or other symptoms of cataracts are encouraged to attend the screening and take advantage of this life-changing opportunity.
