
Herona Community Hospital Kisoga Announces Orthopaedic open Day
Herona Community Hospital Kisoga, Mukono, has announced a special medical event dedicated to orthopaedic care, scheduled for 29th October 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m. The event, known as Orthopaedic Day, aims to provide specialized consultation and treatment for patients suffering from back pain, old fractures, and other bone or joint-related conditions.
On this day, the hospital will host three experienced orthopaedic surgeons, offering patients a rare opportunity to receive expert evaluation and advice under one roof. The initiative is part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to improving access to quality specialist care within the community.
To make the services more affordable, drugs will be available at a subsidised fee ,all X-rays will be offered at a reduced rate of 30,000 UGX, while the consultation fee will be only 10,000 UGX. This special offer is designed to encourage individuals who have been living with untreated injuries or chronic pain to seek professional medical attention.
The hospital management emphasized that Orthopaedic Day will not only provide treatment but also raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and proper management of musculoskeletal conditions. Community members experiencing persistent back pain, joint stiffness, or old fractures are encouraged to attend and benefit from the expertise of the visiting surgeons.
